God’s Painters – Read Matthew 25:14-23
Some time ago I heard a woman state an idea that has stayed in my mind ever since. The woman said she liked to think of each day as a canvas on which she would paint a picture. She would undertake to paint a picture so beautiful and interesting that she would feel good about signing her name to it. What a great way to look at a day! Every morning, God gives us a fresh canvas. Every evening, we return a painting. This idea has the power to shape lives for good by changing the way we look at our actions.
At the end of each day, I ask myself, Does this painting represent the best I can do? How can I do better tomorrow? In what ways can I touch others' lives for good?
