Studies and groups continue to take off for the fall!  Have you found something of interest?

1.      Back to Mayberry begins tonight (Friday) at 6:00 p.m.  Meet for a pot luck supper then sit back and watch “Danny Meets Andy Griffith”.  This was first aired as an episode of Make Room for Daddy starring Danny Thomas in February 1960.

2.      New Members Classes begin today at 4:00 p.m. in the lounge.  Come and join us.  There are three classes.  New members will be received by session on Oct. 14.

3.      The pastor and Gerry Reedell will begin teaching a class tonight at 7:00 entitled “Christianity and World Religions”.  Sixteen have already signed up, and we can take more.  Tonight is introductory.

4.      Evergreens will meet for the first time this Wednesday at noon.  Special guests will be Ann Burns of the Absecon Blind Center and her seeing-eye dog.

The annual CROP Walk for hunger will take place Sunday afternoon, Oct. 19.  Walkers sponsor forms will be available from Tina Brown beginning this Sunday.  If you are unable to walk please sponsor our Walkers!

Our church yard sale will be next Saturday, Sept.27, along with the Absecon Downtown Fair.  Tables are available for $10 each through Priscilla.  Also if you are able to help with breakfast, lunch, or in any way please see Kris.

The Friends of Jean Webster, Inc. will be hosting an evening at The Flying Cloud Café in Gardner’s Basin, Atlantic City this Wednesday at 6 PM.  The dinner buffet begins at 6:30 p.m.  Cost is $30 per person.  Advance ticket purchases include a strip of Chinese auction tickets.  Contact the church office.
